Grade pay- rs 12000 in pay band - 4 ( rs 37400- 67000 + NPA for medical personnel
Mode of recruitment- Direct
Age - Preferrably below 50 yrs
Qualifications:
Medical: Essential:PG medical degree in the field of Microbiology/ Bacteriology/Serology/Virology/Heamotology or allied biology sciences.
or PHD in any of the above field
Non Medical essential: Msc in bacteriology,/ Physiology/biochemistry/mcrobiology or
PHD in any of the above
Experience:
20 yrs standing in profession
Experience in research, training, manufacturing, quality control of biologicals viz vaccines and blood products for atleast 15 yrs.
Extensive administration experience.
Tenure:
Appointment shall be for 5 yrs not extending beyond 60 yrs of age. The tenure may be extended upto a term upto 62 yrs ot terminated on notice of 3 months notice / pay.

The candidate is expected to ensure that the NIB plays a pioneering pole in Field of quality assurance, management and control og biologicals .
